Designer’s Statement: With a background in architecture, I have a natural tendency to examine the environment in an analytical manner, dismantling the forms around me and investigating how things are assembled and arranged. I draw pattern inspiration from deconstructed realities and apply this methodical way of thinking to textile design. I find beauty in perfection, symmetry, and balance and am attracted to geometry and color. Ornament and pattern are my source of delight.
